For years, Governor John Kasich and Lt. Governor Mary Taylor have increased big government spending and even pushed Obama's Medicaid Expansion on hardworking Ohioans.

The wasteful spending needs to stop.

Ohio’s Bloated Budget

President Trump’s Tax Cuts and Jobs Act has increased the paychecks of hardworking Ohio families. There are more opportunities to advance careers and create a better quality of life for Ohio’s citizens.

Governor John Kasich and Lt. Governor Mary Taylor have increased state government spending by $19 billion to pay for their liberal Medicaid expansion plan.1

The Kasich/Taylor plan raised taxes on Ohio taxpayers by:

  • Increasing sales tax.
  • Extending sales tax for everything from parking to cable TV.2

Medicaid Expansion

Governor John Kasich and Lt. Governor Mary Taylor endorsed the expansion of Medicaid under Obamacare in 2013.3

Their liberal plan put Ohio over budget by $2.9 billion4 and cost more than half of the state’s entire general fund operating budget.5

Ohio can’t afford the Kasich/Taylor liberal expansion of Medicaid.

Wasteful Spending

Our leaders should push for responsible tax reform and cut wasteful spending. Ohio’s hardworking families should be able to keep more of their paychecks, instead of sending their money to Columbus to pay for Kasich and Taylor’s liberal policies.
